Field Tests

Buying equipment is easy. Finding out how it performs when you actually live with it is another matter entirely.

Test Camping is where I take the equipment, systems and little ideas I plan to depend on and use them in real conditions. Some things work exactly as expected. Some work differently. Some come home and get changed.

These are field reports, not laboratory tests and not manufacturer reviews. They’re what happened when I actually lived with the setup.
