MY EXPERIENCE
This mattress proved to be very comfortable, and yes, I would buy it again.
The 4-inch thickness also works well for the way I camp in my small cargo van. I can't simply keep increasing mattress thickness without giving up usable space above me. A 6-inch or thicker mattress would make it difficult for me to sit upright comfortably inside the van.
Someone traveling in a high-top van or another rig with more interior height may have room for a thicker mattress. In a small cargo van, though, comfort isn't the only measurement that matters. You also need to think about the space above the mattress.
For my setup, four inches gives me a good balance between sleeping comfort and usable living space.
